Thank you for your inquiry about our Dual 8mm & Super 8mm Yelco
Variable Speed Projector. We feel it's one of the best units
currently available for film viewing & transfer. If you have
looked for another unit you are well aware that there are few left to be
found. These projectors are selling fast but there are still some
left, plus parts to handle most current orders. We have used this
projector in our own transfer business for 16 out of our 18 years in
business.
The projector is best suited for a single-chip camera transfer system.
For a three-chip or tube style transfer system this projector is not
recommended, due to the AC style motor installed. Some speed variations
may be too severe for the better camera system to correct without constantly
touching up the speed control to eliminate flicker during transfer projects.
Some three-chip cameras, such as the VX1000, TRV900, DSR200, XL1 & GL1, will
work ok.
For better film transfer quality we offer the $50 optional diffuser for the
aerial image systems only. The aerial system was made by Buhl Optical and
Laird Telemedia for TV stations and Pro Transfer Houses several years ago and is
no longer available for sale. The diffuser allows for a more even light spread across the
screen area with no light bulb filament hot spots on the aerial systems.
Rear screen boxes and off-the-wall transfer setups do not need the diffuser.
The projector has a totally automatic loading function with a heavy
duty spring gate, claw and sprocket assembly. This is a great
feature for film playback stability.
The bulb is easy to replace with a standard EFP 100w style bulb found at most
A/V stores. For more information please call or fill out our information

Pricing
We offer a 90 day parts & labor warranty on the projector
only. If totally dissatisfied you may return the unit within 10 days
for a $50 restocking charge. The Yelco Projector must be returned in
its original carton with no damage or missing parts and the same serial
number.
We ship UPS ground & air service to most locations in the US for
$15 to $60. Payment can be made by Master Card, Visa, Discover or UPS
